Read

Every morning Todd and I wake up and read our Bibles.  In the quiet of our house we read the living breathing Word of God.  I cherish this time with our Father, the quiet and peace before the kids are up and my day fully starts.  Sometimes it’s a time of deep prayer for my friends and family where my heart is poured out in love for them, sometimes it’s a time of distance where I’m so tired and overwhelmed by the hardships that have come along that I find comfort in sitting in the presence of My Lord and Savior, and sometimes it’s a time of learning where I didnt’t know a certain topic before.  Regardless of the emotion of the time reading my Bible and praying doesn’t change.

Friends, if I can encourage you to do one thing, it would be to read the Living breathing Word of God, and to pray continually every day.  Find time to read the Bible and spend intimate moments with God.  It’s a game changer in every way.
